Class Information
Arts Education Outreach Locations
The BAAC participates in a variety of arts activities at area schools & community locations.
Many of the classes are held at the facilities of the John Waldron Arts Center. map
Policies
Full payment for classes is due at the time of registration. Payment can be made by check, cash, MasterCard or Visa. For some classes, particularly children's classes, materials and other fees are included in the tuition total.
Please consider a contribution to the scholarship fund when you make your payment.
"Early Bird Special": Register no later than Monday, one week BEFORE classes begin and save $5 off every class enrollment
Class Cancellation, Withdrawal and Refund Policies
If The Waldron cancels a scheduled class a refund will be given. Enrollment is limited in our courses and workshops so once you have enrolled your participation is important to us: We are counting on you to attend. If you must withdraw from a class, we provide these options.
- 100% tuition refund minus a $15 processing fee (up to one week before classes begin)
- 50% tuition refund minus a $15 processing fee (up thru the first week of classes)
- once a class begins its second week, we can not refund any tuition.
Gift Certificates or Financial Aid
Gift Certificates are available.
Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. For more information, call the Education Department at 334-3100.
Easy Parking
Parking at the 4th Street Garage (4th and Walnut) is free after 5:00pm Monday through Friday and on weekends. During regular business hours it is only 50 cents per hour.
Classes at The Waldron
The John Waldron Arts Center’s Education Program offers over
350 classes a year in the visual, performing and literary arts.
There are 4 major sessions a year: Fall (September - December); Winter (January - March); Spring (March - May); and Summer (June - August).
Our students range in age from pre-school
to senior citizens and have a variety of skill levels. There is something
for everyone!
