Waldron Circle

The Waldron Circle—our initiative for $500+ gift levels—is a distinguished group of individuals who demonstrate commitment to the mission and activities of the BAAC through financial leadership. As part of the Waldron Circle, you receive Arts Council Membership benefits on top of community wide recognition. Select a sponsorship opportunity or advise us to use your gift where it is needed most.

  • Apprentice $500 Sponsor a gallery exhibit, weekly e-newsletter or the BAAC website homepage for a month
  • Master $1,000 Underwrite an Arts Leadership Award or other special event
  • Creator $2,500 Become the lead sponsor of the Performance Series
  • Innovator $5,000 & up Sponsor scholarships for Waldron classes for 50+ children

Corporate Membership

A strong arts council helps create a vibrant community--membership contributions are essential to the continued operation and vibrancy of the John Waldron Arts Center. Many organizations will match your contribution to the BAAC, which often doubles your contribution. Ask your company representative for more information.

Corporate Sponsorship

Sponsorship is a wonderful way to associate your name or corporate logo with the Bloomington Area Arts Council/John Waldron Arts Center and a specific event or series. Recognition can be customized based on your needs. Recognition and benefits may include:

Neighborhood Assistance Program Tax Credits

A "WIN-WIN!" Support our high-quality arts education classes for youth at the John Waldron Arts Center, Community Kitchen, Crestmont public housing, and area schools provided at no-cost to schools or students, AND receive HALF of your gift as a direct tax credit against your Indiana state income taxes, and a regular deduction on your federal taxes. NAP credits are available for both businesses and individuals. more

Naming Opportunities at the John Waldron Arts Center

SEE YOUR NAME IN LIGHTS! Imagine hearing your business every time there’s a show in the John Waldron Arts Center Auditorium. “The your business name here Auditorium” OR “The your business name here Main Stage!" Naming opportunities include the Auditorium, Main Lobby, Flashlight Gallery, and Ceramics Lab.

Artlives Endowment

Support the John Waldron Arts Center for future generations. Contact the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County to contribute to the BAAC’s endowment.

You can help ensure the John Waldron Arts Center remains a treasured community asset with a planned gift. Your donation is safe, secure, and private, and 100% of your gift goes directly to the BAAC.
