The Waldron Wins: Bloomington's Best Art & Entertainment Attraction Award for 2008

Pamela Keech, Ed Vande Sande and Marc Tschida accept the Best Art/Entertainment Attraction Award at the 2008 Hospitality Awards luncheon. The ceremony was held at the Convention and Visitors Bureau facility on 5/16/2008.

This is the second year in a row the The Waldron has been honored by the CVB as an outstanding arts tourism venue. We are deeply honored by this award and recommit our efforts to being the best multi-disciplinary arts venue in the region.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BAAC Announces Executive Director

The Bloomington Area Arts Council is pleased to announce the addition of Pamela Keech as Executive Director.  Pamela has most recently been serving as the curator of Manhattan's Lower East Side Tenement Museum, a position that she has held since 1993.  In addition to her administrative efforts to support the arts, she is an active artist with awards in the fields of sculpture and costume design.

We are very pleased to have Pamela joining the team.  Pamela will officially begin her duties on September 4th.
