First Annual Beaux Arts Art House at Renwick--Because Art Matters! Don't miss the excitement and events in Bloomington, Indiana surrounding the First Annual "Art House" at Renwick, sponsored by the Beaux Arts Women's Auxiliary. Opening night gala and preview party coming Fall 2010.
Renwick neighborhood is a "smart growth community" that integrates housing, parks and neighborhood services, is partnering with the Beaux Arts Auxiliary and lending two of it's newly completed homes -- both artistic designs in their own right-- to showcase selected works by artists throughout the Midwest for this juried Art House, the proceeds of which benefit the Bloomington Area Arts Council, and provide funds that support public participation in the arts by developing, strengthening, and promoting cultural resources of Bloomington, Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Monroe and Owen Counties.
Sculpures, paintings, tapestry, drawings, pottery, and more, will cover walls, line shelves, and entice visitors to second and third floor lofts with ceiling to floor exhibitions.
